KINGSVILLE, ONT. — DelFrescoPure is debuting its new The Original Cherry Tomatoes on the Vine at the Southeast Produce Council (SEPC)’s Southern Exposure this weekend in Tampa, Fla.
The company described the new greenhouse-grown tomatoes as “little bites of luxury.”
“Whether you're looking to add a burst of sweetness to your salads, a rich depth to your pasta sauces, or a vibrant topping for your bruschetta, these tomatoes are sure to impress even the most discerning food enthusiasts,” the company said.
The new tomatoes will be available in 12-ounce clamshell packages and will start rolling out to grocery stores in April. The DelFrescoPure team will showcase the tomatoes at Booth #444.
“It is important to be at The Southeast Produce Council show because it allows us a chance to connect with our customers and showcase our premium greenhouse grown produce,” said Ray Mastronardi, vice president of sales. “It also allows us to interact with those that aren’t familiar with the DelFrescoPure brand and educate them on our process, introduce them to our produce and have them sample our commodities.”
