ORANGE, CALIF. — MegaMex Foods and Hormel Foods brand Wholly Guacamole is debuting a new refrigerated guacamole variety.

Made using chunks of 100% Hass avocados, Wholly Guacamole Extra Chunky Restaurant Style features tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, lime juice and jalapeño peppers. The product aims to recreate restaurant-quality flavors in an at-home setting, according to the company, and may be enjoyed as a standalone snack for dipping or used in home cooking as a convenient ingredient addition.

“A large majority of people are changing their spending habits and stretching their dollars further with meals at home,” said Chris Monahan, brand manager of Wholly products. “This trend inspired us to recreate the tableside guac experience in a convenient format for our fans, so they can enjoy the same great flavor of their favorite Mexican restaurant in the comfort of their homes.”
