PLYMOUTH, WIS. — Cheese manufacturer Sargento announced several leadership promotions in its consumer products, and foodservice and ingredients business units.

The company elevated Erin Price from senior vice president of marketing to general manager of consumer products. Price will oversee Sargento’s brand marketing, integrated marketing communications, omnichannel and consumer insights. Price joined Sargento in 2007 as a marketing manager. She has worked for Spectrum Brands, Johnson & Johnson and General Mills, Inc.

Jeremy Schellin was elevated from vice president of strategic planning to general manager of foodservice and ingredients. Schellin will lead marketing, innovation and foodservice and ingredients sales. Schellin has been with Sargento since February 2017, when he joined as senior manager of new product development. Schellin has held several marketing positions at companies, including General Mills.

Rod Hogan is stepping into an expanded role of senior vice president of innovation. Hogan succeeds Kristi Jankowski, previous executive vice president of innovation, who retired from the company. Hogan will lead innovation and R&D. Previously, Hogan was senior director of new business development for Sargento. Hogan joined Sargento in 1996 in its research and development unit. Before his tenure with Sargento, he was in research and development at Kraft Foods Group.  

Chris Regennitter also is taking on an expanded role of senior vice president, Sargento sales. Regennitter will oversee sales strategy and initiatives for the company. Previously, Regennitter was vice president of sales. Before joining Sargento, Regennitter was head of sales at The Kraft Heinz Co. and earlier was region sales vice president, Frito-Lay at PepsiCo.

Brian Ginn was promoted from director of sales to vice president of consumer product sales. Ginn will lead a majority of Sargento’s consumer products customer account portfolio and strategic channels business. Ginn has been with Sargento since 2015, when he joined as divisional sales team lead, Albertsons Co. and West area. Ginn previously was vice president of sales of operational planning and revenue management at The Kraft Heinz Co. Earlier, he was field sales project and customer business teams at Mondelez International.

Joy Judski was elevated from vice president of sales for consumer products to vice president of foodservice and ingredients sales. Judski joined Sargento in October 2013 as director of sales. Previously, she was director for trade marketing and category management at Lactalis American Group.

Chris McCarthy is Sargento’s vice president of strategic planning. The company said McCarthy will help advance its real food vision. Previously, he was president of foodservice and ingredients division. He joined the company in August 2013 as marketing director. Earlier in his career, he was associate director of Classico, Heinz HomeStyle and emerging brands at The Kraft Heinz Co.

Amy Ehlen was promoted from senior director, pricing and demand planning, to vice president of pricing and demand planning. Ehlen will help enhance short- and long-term demand planning and pricing processes. Ehlen joined Sargento in 2012 as a trade planning analyst. Prior to Sargento, Ehlen was a client service manager at SymphonyIRI Group.
