EVANSTON, ILL – Grass-fed Irish dairy maker Kerrygold started selling its butter sticks in larger packs, debuting 1 lb salted and unsalted varieties.

The Ornua-owned brand said the new format, which already is arriving at retailers throughout the United States, contains four 4 oz sticks of butter in each box.

Kerrygold described the all-natural butter sticks as all-purpose products, made for baking, cooking and spreading.

"We're doubling down on the love our fans have for Kerrygold butter by doubling the number of sticks in these packs," said Ornua Foods North America head of innovation Lauren Arffa. "We know consumers have been craving a 16 oz size butter from Kerrygold, and we're thrilled to provide a solution for them with our 1LB sticks – the No. 1 category innovation this past year."

The brand also noted that its butters are made with milk from Irish grass-fed cows that produce naturally occurring beta carotene. Kerrygold said it slow churns the butter for a smooth finish and its products contain neither artificial flavors nor preservatives.

The dairy manufacturer also shared that it sources its milk from 14,000 small Irish farms, and Kerrygold farmers preserve traditions passed down through generations as members of local milk cooperatives.
