BARCELONA, SPAIN — International dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina introduced Martina Müller as the new managing director of FrieslandCampina Iberia, Italy and France.
The company said Müller’s responsibilities will include continuing to expand the business strategy in three key territories.
FrieslandCampina promoted Müller, who spent the previous nine years in its marketing and sales departments. In her new role, the cooperative said Müller will aim to strengthen its market position in southwestern Europe, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and consolidating its presence in distribution channels. A priority, the company noted, will be adapting business strategies with changing market demands and sustainability trends in mind.
In her most recent role at FrieslandCampina, Müller served as commercial director, QSR, and coffee and tea, for the professional division that focuses on B2B. She handled accounts such as McDonald’s and Burger King. The dairy cooperative credited Müller with driving strategic partnerships that “greatly benefited” the company.
In the southwest region of Europe, FrieslandCampina produces a number of cheese brands and supplies a variety of dairy products to retailers.
Per the leadership team at FrieslandCampina, people at the company consider Müller to be “a natural person, a natural leader and a respected colleague with a genuine desire to make the difference.”
Müller’s career experience includes nearly two decades in marketing and business administration, working for such companies as Mondelez, Pepsico and Reckitt-Benckiser. She studied business administration at IE Business School and London Business School.
