Rich's Foodservice recently unveiled the turnkey Corner Market Pizza program for c-stores that enables a retail to launch its first pizza program and attract in-store foot traffic.
C-store operators can order the fully-topped Simply Cheese Artisan Crust pizza from a local Rich's distributor, and then order a Corner Market Pizza Package, which includes equipment and merchandising.
"Two out of three Americans eat pizza every week, so it's an important component to every foodservice program," said Cheri F. Marchionda, director of sales-convenience for Rich Products Corporation. "our new Corner Market Pizza Program is a win-win proposition for the consumer as well as the retailer. C-stores will enjoy high profit margins from this easy-to-implement program, while their customers will enjoy fresh-baked, delicious pizza."
According to Rich's, an operator who sells an average of 120 slicers per day can earn as much as $215 gross profit per day. A store can launch its own pizza program for as little as $1,080, or up to $1,440 for an all-inclusive Corner Market Pizza Package, plus the cost of the pizza. Both kids include a Wisco Oven that will accommodate a 16-inch pizza, a pizza display with a built-in warmer and graphic header, pizza pans, a cutting board, pizza cutter, a point-of-sale kit and a pricing kit.
