Meijer's newest location, set to open later this year, will be the company's smallest urban store and will carry a new name.

The 30,000-square-foot Bridge Street market is under construction now and will open in early fall. It will anchor a $60 million development by Rockford Construction and is marketed as "first-of-its-kind in the region and a unique model intended to deliver a convenient, fresh neighborhood grocery option for those who live, work and play in the area."
