Convenience store chain Cumberland Farms’ new concept store includes expanded prepared food offerings.
Westborough, Massachusetts-based Cumberland Farms opened what the company is calling its “next generation” store on Aug. 18 in Titusville, Florida. New design elements, equipment and food offerings were created to enhance customer convenience, according to a company news release. Several other next generation stores are expected to open in the next year.
The expanded prepared foods menu at the 5,000 square foot store includes ciabatta sandwiches, frittatas, melts and macaroni and cheese, all available at self-service ordering terminals.
"We are excited to introduce the future of Cumberland Farms to Titusville," Ari Haseotes, CEO of Cumberland Farms, says in the release. "We hope our self-service ordering terminals make us even more convenient and that customers enjoy our new food and beverage offerings."
Cumberland Farms operates nearly 600 c-stores in eight Eastern states.
