Cheese producer and importer Schuman Cheese has inked a deal with a German producer to import its Bavarian cheeses.

Fairfield, New Jersey-based Schuman Cheese will be the exclusive importer and distributer of cheeses produced by Bergader Privatkaserei, which has produced Bavarian cheeses for more than a century.

Bergader’s products include Bavaria Blue, the original triple crème blue soft cheese hybrid; Edelpilz, the German alpine blue cheese; and a range of Bavarian soft cheeses.
