DayMark Safety Systems’ new kitchen automation system is driven by a suite of software applications that company officials call a virtual “app store” for the foodservice industry.

Designed for retail and foodservice kitchens, the system, called Gateway, allows information to be shared worldwide via the cloud in real time and ingredients to be managed in a single system and provides a high level of security.

“These cloud-based apps are designed to help professionals in the [food] industry, ensuring the food they serve is safe, healthy, and meets regulatory requirements,” says Jeff Gayer, vice president of product development for Bowling Green, Ohio-based DayMark.

 DayMark will showcase Gateway at the National Restaurant Association’s annual show in Chicago May 19-22.
