Lipari Foods LLC has issued a voluntary recall of 5 oz Premo Brand Turkey and Cheese Wedge sandwiches that could be contaminated with listeria.
The affected products were produced on Aug. 8 by Lipari’s sister company, JLM, and distributed to foodservice and retail customers in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
The products have an enjoy-by date of Aug. 31. The recall follows environmental testing initiated by the Food and Drug Administration, which found positive test results for potential contamination of listeria.
As of Aug. 21, no illnesses connected to the recalled product had been reported.
