A giant cheese sculpture made by Northeast retailer Stew Leonard’s will join the Guinness Book of World Records.

The 3,500 lb brick of sharp cheddar made by Norwalk, Connecticut-based Stew Leonard’s breaks the previous world record by nearly 2,000 pounds. Stew Leonard’s operates six stores in Connecticut and New York.

The “Customer Service Rock of Commitment,” as the cheese has been dubbed, was made with 4,000 gallons of milk. Shoppers who come to see the cheese will receive a free grilled cheese sandwich made with the same sharp cheddar.
