Kowalski's Markets has paired with Local Crate to offer no-subscription-needed meal kits at its Minneapolis-area locations.

The options include Pre-Paired By Kowalski's kits as well as Local Crate's branded products. Local Crate, as the name implies, focuses on local foods, partnering with chefs and local farmers to construct its kits. The company's Upper Midwest menu for the fall and winter includes steak with mashed potatoes in a creamy mushroom sauce, beef pot roast, Italian chicken, red curry coconut chickpea bowls and more.

The Kowalski's line of meal kits require limited cooking equipment and can be prepared in 30 minutes. Each kit includes Kowalski's Signature products, naturally raised meats and products from local producers.
