Five months after setting the date for the much-anticipated opening of its first New York City location, Wegmans in Brooklyn Navy Yard is ready to go.

It will also offer restaurant foods prepared by executive chef Stephen De Lucia and a culinary staff of 157. Fresh sushi, authentic Italian pizza, burgers, made-to-order salads and more will be offered.
The food bars and mix-and-match, with hot and cold self-serve stations featuring entrees and sides, international cuisine, homestyle and vegetarian options, all of which are available for takeout of instore dining.
The store will be Wegmans' 101st overall and 47th in New York State.
