California medjool date grower Joolies will roll out a new snack pack product at Expo West March 4-6. Each snack pack contains three pitted dates or three whole dates priced at $2.49. 

The fresh snack packs have natural plant fiber, are low on the glycemic index, provide clean energy, and are full of magnesium, B vitamins and potassium. Each date is grown without pesticides, herbicides or fungicides, and is handpicked and packaged at peak ripeness and never dried or rehydrated. 

"We gave a sneak peek of the Snack Packs at Winter Fancy Food Show, and people were drawn to the cute and compact size similar to a deck of cards,” says Mark Masten, CEO of Joolies. “Making medjool dates more accessible and snackable was a natural next step, but it just hadn't been done before in the category. We're excited to see these positioned in the produce and center-aisle sets of the grocery store.” 

The new snack packs will be exhibited in booth H-628 in the Hilton at Natural Products Expo West.
