WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Organic Trade Association (OTA) is hosting a webinar, Organic 101, for the produce community, on March 18 at 2 p.m. EST.
Hosted by the association’s policy director, Johanna Mirenda, and her panel of produce shoppers, the webinar will go over the basics of the organic label—what it means, how it’s enforced and why the organic label is a gold standard for food around the world.
The webinar will delve into the full supply chain—farming, post-harvest handling, transportation, retail receiving and merchandising—of organic produce. The session will also address regulations and best practices proven for retailers.
The session is free to members of OTA, and $149 to non-members. Register here.
