IMMOKALEE, FLA. - Lipman Family Farms will introduce the company’s new fresh-cut green beans during the Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) Fresh Summit from Oct. 13-15.
Available in a high-graphic, microwavable bag to eliminate prep time, Lipman’s fresh-cut green beans are clipped and cleaned to provide a dependable, ready-to-enjoy product. The retail packaging is designed to enhance the shelf life and ensure convenient, fresh produce.
“From our fields to your table, Lipman’s green beans are grown and handled with care,” said Sarah Miller, general manager at Lipman Family Farms. “Whether our consumers are looking for a quick snack or want to create a delicious dish for Thanksgiving, we are excited to deliver a fresh, flavorful and safe product as part of our fresh-cut portfolio.”
Offered in a variety of sizes ranging from 12 ounces to 32 ounces, the green bean packages are ready to ship to customers within 24 hours. The beans will start shipping to retail this month.
Also new at Lipman, the company was recently awarded the 2020 Supplier of the Year in the produce category by foodservice distributor Ben E. Keith.
“We knew we were partnering with a great company and their actions during this pandemic have only further illustrated just how valuable they are to our success,” said Wes Holcomb, corporate category director of produce and dairy for Ben E. Keith. “They do a fantastic job selling us high-quality products, keeping us in supply, even when markets are extremely tight.”
Lipman will be showcasing its fresh-cut green bean program at its virtual PMA booth, as well as sharing industry insights. Sales representatives will also be available to provide more information and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
