WASHINGTON, D.C. — The North American Meat Institute is hosting a webinar on labor challenges faced by the US meat industry.
Set for 1 p.m. ET on Jan. 19, the webinar will feature Alex Chausovsky, director of analytics and consulting for theMiller Resource Group.
“The state of labor and workforce challenges are top of mind issues across industries, and the meat industry in particular,” according to NAMI. “This webinar will provide a snapshot look at where the labor market stands today, where the pressure may build or release in the future, insights on recruitment strategies and ways to offset labor shortages through automation.”
The webinar, which is sponsored by Multivac, will include a panel discussion focusing on companies that have been able to adapt through implementation of automation solutions, and the challenges and opportunities that automation provides.
