GREEN BAY, WIS. — BelGioioso Cheese won four medals at the World Championship Cheese Contest March 3-5 in Madison, Wis., including a Top 20 finish for CreamyGorg, the company’s signature Gorgonzola Dolce cheese crafted by Master Cheesemaker Jeff Allen.
BelGioioso won 1st Place Gold medals for Creamy Gorg in the Gorgonzola category, Provolone Mandarini in the Aged Provolone category and Asiago Fresco in the Fresh Asiago category. The company also earned a 3rd Place Bronze for its Fresh Mozzarella Snacking Cheese in the Natural Snacking category.
