Rouses Markets is acquiring nine locations of LeBlanc's Food Stores, according to The Advocate.

The move will boost Rouses to 54 locations, including 10 in the metro Baton Rouge, LA area. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The former LeBlanc's locations will undergo some remodeling, specifically expanding the perishable and seafood departments, including new rooms for boiling seafood. All current LeBlanc's employees will have the option to remain with Rouses.
