ORLANDO — Phoenix-based refrigerated salsa and dip specialist Fresh Cravings introduced three new salsas at the International Fresh Produce Association’s inaugural show Oct. 27-29.
Two of the new salsas, the mild Fire-Roasted Red and the medium Fire-Roasted Green, represent Fresh Cravings’ first forays into fire-roasted products, which are smoky, more flavorful and closer to traditional Mexican salsas, said April Riegler, senior director of public relations, shopper and event marketing.
“Fresh Cravings Fire Roasted Salsas are inspired by the timeless traditions and recipes of Mexican cuisine, and everyone who tried them at the show, loved them. We received rave reviews about the flavors. The fire-roasted tomatoes, onions, and peppers add a hint of smokiness to these versatile recipes. We are excited about how well received they were by IFPA attendees,”” she said.
The third new salsa, Avocado Verde, is the first Fresh Cravings product to combine two popular ingredients — avocados and salsa verde — in one product.
