The floors of Pack Expo Las Vegas were bustling on opening day and the four showroom floors were packed with exhibitors as PMMI hosted its largest Las Vegas show to date.

The North American packaging market is expanding, and PMMI is expanding to serve it.

Everybody heard the anecdotal stories about the huge increase in demand for packaging equipment during the pandemic, but PMMI recently released a survey that documented how sales grew 40% between 2019 and 2022, noted Jorge Izquierdo, vice president, market development, PMMI, the association for packaging and processing technologies, during the recent Pack Expo held in Chicago.

The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, announced that David Newcorn would be the new president of PMMI Media Group.
