As supermarket retailers are struggling with labor, two industry stalwarts have been recognized as top places for millennials to work.
Wegmans and Publix were both included in this year's ranking of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials, which was released this week by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work.
Wegmans was ranked 16 out of the 75 companies, while Publix came in at 34.
"Millennials today face a unique set of challenges both in and out of the workplace ranging from cumbersome student loans to a lack of trust in their management," says Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. "The Best Workplaces on this list have created a greater sense of fairness, collaboration, and professional development for millennials. These positive experiences empower them to bring their full potential to the workplace and the world."
Ultimate Software, Hilton and Salesforce were the top three on the list.
